Stainless Steel Coil & Steel Strip
1. Excellent Corrosion Resistance -- Stainless steel strips provide outstanding corrosion resistance thanks to their alloy composition rich in chromium, nickel, and titanium. This forms a durable protective film that prevents rust and oxidation, ideal for harsh industrial environments.
2. Multiple Grades and International Standards -- Available in austenitic, ferritic, martensitic, and duplex grades, stainless steel strips comply with major global standards such as ASTM, JIS, EN, and GB, ensuring consistent quality and worldwide applicability.
3. High Versatility and Industrial Adaptability -- As an extension of ultra-thin stainless steel sheets, these strips are designed for efficient industrial production and can be used in construction, automotive, energy, and appliance manufacturing.
4. Wide Application and Lasting Durability -- Used across food processing, pharmaceuticals, and architecture, stainless steel strips combine strength, longevity, and aesthetic appeal, making them ideal for kitchenware, machinery parts, and structural components.
The stainless steel strip is simply an extension of the ultra-thin stainless steel sheet. It is mainly a narrow and long steel plate produced to meet the needs of industrialized production of various metal or mechanical products in different industrial sectors. Stainless steel coils are divided into austenitic, ferritic, martensitic, duplex stainless steel cold-rolled coils and stainless steel hot-rolled coils. The implementation standards include GB/T4238, ASTM/ASME, JIS G4305, EN10088, BSEN10028, GB/T3280 , GB/T4237, etc.
The corrosion resistance of stainless steel coils mainly depends on its alloy composition (chromium, nickel, titanium, silicon, aluminum, etc.) and the internal structure of stainless steel coils, and the main role is chromium. Stainless steel coils & strips are widely used in chemical, food, pharmaceutical, paper, petroleum, atomic energy and other industries, as well as construction, kitchen utensils, tableware, vehicles, household appliances and other various parts.

The difference between stainless steel cold rolled coils and hot rolled coils:
Stainless steel cold-rolled coils are generally steel coils with a thickness of less than 6mm, with a surface of 2B and bright.
Stainless steel hot-rolled coils are generally steel coils with a thickness between 3mm and 16mm, and their surfaces have industrial surfaces and matte surfaces.
Stainless steel hot rolled
It uses slabs (mainly continuous casting billets) as raw materials, and is heated and made into strips by rough rolling units and finishing rolling units. The hot steel strip coming out of the last rolling mill of finishing rolling is cooled to the set temperature through laminar flow, and is rolled into steel strip coils by the coiler. The cooled steel strip coils undergo different finishing operations according to the different needs of users. Lines (smoothing, straightening, cross-cutting or slitting, inspection, weighing, packaging and marking, etc.) are processed into steel plates, flat coils and slit steel strip products.
advantage:
1. Destroy the casting structure of the steel ingot, making the steel structure denser, the grains finer, and the microstructural defects eliminated.
2. Hot rolled stainless steel has better toughness and ductility and lower price.
3. The torsion resistance of hot-rolled stainless steel is better than that of cold-rolled stainless steel.
Stainless Steel Cold Rolled
It is processed and rolled on the basis of hot-rolled stainless steel sheets and coils. Generally speaking, it is a process of hot rolling → pickling → cold rolling. Although the steel plate will be heated up due to rolling during processing, it is still called cold rolling. Due to the continuous cold deformation of hot rolling, the mechanical properties are relatively poor and the hardness is too high. It must be annealed to restore its mechanical properties, and it is called hard rolled coil without annealing. Hard rolled coils are generally used to make products that do not require bending or stretching.
advantage:
1. The forming speed is fast, the output is high, and the coating will not be damaged.
2. Strong plastic deformation ability and high yield point.
3. The stainless steel cold-rolled surface has no scale, good quality and high dimensional accuracy.
