PPGI stands for pre-coated galvanized steel, meaning pre-coated galvanized steel. It typically refers to steel products such as PPGI coil (pre-coated galvanized coil) and PPGI sheet (pre-coated galvanized sheet). It is a galvanized coil coated with a colored coating, giving the product a rich, beautiful finish that makes it versatile. PPGL stands for pre-painted galvanized, and it is a galvanized coil coated with a colored coating. Color-coated coils primarily include hot-dip galvanized sheet, hot-dip galvanized sheet, and electro-galvanized sheet. After surface pretreatment (chemical degreasing and chemical conversion), one or more layers of organic coating are applied, then baked and cured. It is named after the various colored organic coatings applied to color-coated steel coils, often referred to as color-coated steel coils. Its corrosion resistance is inferior to that of hot-dip galvanized substrates, which are made by dipping thin steel sheets into a molten zinc bath to deposit a layer of zinc. This type of galvanized sheet, electro-galvanized sheet substrate, has a thinner coating, but offers corrosion resistance, good paint adhesion, and excellent weldability. Hot-dip galvanized substrate: The product is plated with 55% Al-Zn, has excellent corrosion resistance, and its service life is more than 4 times that of ordinary galvanized steel sheets. It is an alternative to galvanized steel sheets.
